“Ancient Style and Modern Rhyme” Chinese Ancient Poetry Singing Competition is Underway

Chinese ancient poems are the essence of Chinese literary tradition. The “ancient style and modern rhyme” – Chinese ancient poetry recitation competition hosted by CCHC UM has set off an upsurge of singing and promoting Chinese culture throughout Zhuhai and Macao. On November 11-12, trials of the competition finished, and nearly 1,000 contestants from Macao, Zhuhai, Guangzhou, Beijing, Xiamen and other places signed up, bringing more than 200 marvelous programs. Contestants showed their magical powers, which fully demonstrate the artistic charm of Chinese classical poetry.
