Held by He Xiangning Art Museum, the 3rd Overseas Global Chinese Artists Exhibition has been held on December 26th, 2020. It is the third session of the series activities “Cultural China”, the theme of the Exhibition is “Dispersion and Convergence”. Many distinguished guests attended the opening ceremony. It is reported that this exhibition is going to last till March 14th, 2021.
In terms of its content, the exhibition adopts the mode of “1+N”, that is, “1” is a work of Chinese mainland artists selected from the collection of He Xiangning Art Museum according to the theme, and “N” represents Chinese artists from countries and regions outside mainland China. The organizer chose Zhang Xiaogang’s Brothers and Sisters from the collection of He Xiangning Art Museum to lead the narrative composition of the whole exhibition – This is one of Zhang Xiaogang’s representative works “Big Family” series. The natural family and blood relationship that the works focus on are the natural objects that bring together Chinese scattered around the world.
